Depends what you want.
The works usually have some nuggets amongst the dross. That way you can do the porkylips thing - read them and leave them. On line I've started using Abe Books, as long as you don't mind secondhand. Uk only sellers are usually ok.

You can also sometimes get lucky in Asda\Tesco if your required reading is in the paperback charts.
