Whenever I hear the intro to that record
I am transported back in time to when I first heard it as a 10 (or 11) year old. Life-changing stuff - I'd never heard the like of it and was instantly hooked. It was the arguably the first 'conscious' or 'reality' rap record, prior to 'The Message' all rap records were just party or battle rhymes.
