I am in a much better mood now
My students all interviewed really well; sufficiently well that I was able to have a general chat with them after I'd finished grilling them. I've also rediscovered Deep Purple's Machine Head, having almost forgotten what a fucking good album it was.

And I'm going to a beer festival this evening. And it's probably time for lunch now.
*CORVINE HAPPY DANCE*
EDIT: And I think I've managed to successfully explain Rainbows to Kitty, so I have something to be smug about and all.

Yay!
I'm going to an alumni pub quiz tonight.
We're the reigning champions.
I want to ALSO win the team name challenge too.

Hmmm
I've previously won team name challenges with
SS Titanic Swim Team of 1912,
Bridget Jones's Sideburns

and
The Grand Funk Hot Pants Buddhas.
I don't think I've previously won a pub quiz though.

They prefer puns
Previous winners have included Quiz Team Aguilera and Trivia Newton John.

I'm going for... Love Don't Trivia Any More

I like it.
I have had a whole lunch break to think of another suitable pun and failed miserably.

tut tut
That crow fella would know what to do.

A crow would know.
Though my mind was on other things: I did spend part of my lunchbreak talking to two senior guys who were trying to persuade me to subtly slip politically charged phrases into my slides next time I gave a talk to the group. I think they want to use me as some sort of psychiatric proxy.

I spent the other half of my lunchbreak discussing with a female colleague what she uses her nipples for.

Nevertheless, a crow would - should - know...and so I shall have to suggest Takin' Care of Quiz-ness or Triviall Your Lovin'
