Get cape wear cape flyJust remembered another one. A guy I know started up a punk band a while back called "Bitch Lips".
He related to me the following conversation with a pub owner:
Owner: "So you're a punk band? Interesting. What are you called?"
Friend: "Bitch Lips"
Owner: "Sorry mate, I don't think you're right for the pub"
Friend: "But you haven't even heard us yet!"
Owner: "...Yeah, you're not right for the pub"
What made it better was the tone of angered innocence he told it in...
