I feel this way about TV
but there's only so much you can read and you can't go down the pub every night.

I recommend illegally downloading
stuff.

I've also got one of those new fangled tv recording devices, so can pick and choose the few half decent things from among the massive heaps of shite on tv.

I have a friend who downloads the new Lost episode every week
it's become a weekly event for us

I do this
I have the latest to watch tonight. I'd got a bit behind, so only watched the previous one last night, or the night before.

I like this series
it's a bit slower than some of the previous series, but that's more than OK with me (it can't all be gun battles and monsters). I like the alternate reality story thread where we see how their lives panned out without the island.

it is different to the others
things are being explained (after a fashion) which is great. I'm pleased I've stuck with the whole thing. Never really done that before with a tv series (I mean making sure I watched every episode before the next)

I get the feeling that there will remain some unanswered questions at the end just to be annoying

(, Tue 6 Apr 2010, 17:07, Reply)
and that will most likely get people going "I told you so, they didn't have any answers"
I'll be content if it wraps up nicely. I don't necessarily need to know everything. I'm happy for things to happen just because.

I do this with Flash Forward
even though it's on Tv on Mondays, no one twlls me when I have to watch stuff!
(, Tue 6 Apr 2010, 17:05, Reply)
I'm watching Flash Forward
but I can't say i'm that taken with it. It's certainly no Lost.
(, Tue 6 Apr 2010, 17:10, Reply)
I do quite like it, not as engaged as lost, but i do want to know what caused the black out
and Dominic "Hobbitt" is quite good as an arrogant Englishman

To my mind there's not only so much you can read.
But then I also play a musical instrument, fuck about on the decks and research music online as well as read - I too think TV is almost wholly awful, things like 'Lost' hold literally no appeal whatsoever for me. I watched three episodes and when I tired of laughing at that fat cunt it was all over.

Garagepunk.com has some brilliant podcasts to check out, this is my latest discovery. The forum is really good, there's a great discussion about whether The Clash were punk or not, so I've registered and am pending approval so I can rant away to my heart's content. The poor buggers.
