You great big lightweight.I gave that Malmsteen flamenco number a whirl last night but I'm afraid it left me stone cold. Technically superb but entirely devoid of any 'soul' - particularly notable in such an emotional genre.
Listening to it was somewhat akin to looking at an 'old master' painting recreated by a technical drawing expert, to me.

I wouldn't listen to the song apart from to appreciate the technical skillyour analogy couldn't be more spot on.
Mainly I was suggesting that it is his best piece, and not to listen to the rest.
