I'm out of the castand into a removable boot for my ankle now. As the cast wasn't a real one (not plaster, just elastic bandages holding a splint in place) no one could sign it. The boot, however, has these nice rigid struts along the sides that can be written on.
So I'm looking forward to my kids signing my boot.
