I can now take the boot off so I can sleep without having to wake up to knee and hip pain from a cast twisting me into an odd position. And while I don't dare put weight on it yet, I can move the foot around without a lot of pain, probably more so than the docs would expect.
And now I have an office chair with wheels in the kitchen, so I can move around again with things in my hands so I can cook for myself! Maybe tonight I'll make a pot of soup out of the odds and ends in the fridge that the kids have left in there over the past few weeks...

At that point I should be able to drive again, and maybe I can start using a cane instead of crutches so I'll at least have one hand free.
And what did you get up to this weekend? Catch anything notable? (Fish, that is. If I don't qualify that these pervs will run with it.)

and it was apparently great! I just didn't want to eat it after spending all day fishing! LOL!
The steak and shrimp were really good, though.

I might just ask someone to pick me up a red curry on the way home from the Thai restaurant. I'm in the mood for something with a little authority to it. Somehow the idea of odds and ends soup isn't really appealing to me at the moment.

Especially as I still can't quite reach some of the stuff in my kitchen.
Another reason I'll be glad to be off the crutches: it currently takes far too much planning and effort to get to the bathroom to piss.
