I'm like that with certain accents
like the soft Edinburgh accent, or a not too hacky welsh one.

I don't get the same effect with southeners
My boss is from around Yorkshire, I think. His accent gives me the worst reaction. I usually think I wish he was my grandparent and I could fall asleep with one of his stories.

I was an audio typist
and one of the guys I used to type for had a soft Scottish accent, it was very relaxing.
