I hope
that the people who buy the house are better!

I don't care if they are axe wielding biker mad psychopaths.
They can't be more annoying than him.
(, Wed 21 Apr 2010, 8:35, Reply)
I take it
they've not been the most pleasant of neighbours then!
(, Wed 21 Apr 2010, 8:36, Reply)
It's not so much that, just the fact that he's a complete prick.
The neighbours on the other side are probably noiser than him but they are reasonable nice people.

Ooh, you fibber!
You couldn't stand the rank odour of hopelessness and desolation. And I don't just mean from BGB Towers.

I would import some nice posh air from the south
and breathe it through an aqualung, so as to remain untainted by the soot-stained poverty and grim deprivation.

Obviously it would need to be official National Trust Air.

Oh, the irony
One of the things which gets to me about the southeast of England is the poor air quality. Up here in the chilly north, the air is fresh and clear*.

It also has the lovely aroma of turnips sometimes.

*occasional pollution from volcanic ash excepted

Isn't the correct terminology
"Vowel please, Carol"?

Or Rachel, these days.
