I've been on holiday by myself
Twice now, in fact. It's not as bad as you might think. (Though I admit on the second occasion it was kind of odd not having a proper conversation with anybody for a week.)

I love my own company,
But being a bird, I think people make the wrong assumptions, so I would feel a bit unsafe.

It's the same for me
I know it's a bit silly, as I've travelled for work on my own plenty of times and nothing bad happened ever. Going on my own to restaurants and clubs and didn't have any problem. But it's not the same, I don't know why, I feel unsafe too going on holidays on my own.
