the thing last night was interesting. that guy was blatantly cold reading, and not very well, but I wonder whether he thinks he is the real thing or not

I saw half of it
And it looked very interesting. That Joe Powers guy came across as a complete fraud and dickhead, whilst Derren was charming.

He still scares me though.

and a fraud. don't know if you saw the bit, but he did one good reading which baffled Derren, until it became apparent that the woman lived next door to the guy's sister.

which he agreed to in principle, then pulled out, and explained it in a way that Derren likened to saying "I've got a UFO in my garden, it's invisible and you can't touch it so you'll have to take my word for it"
