I assume the deal is done, cash changed hands and the motor is gone? Did you feel intimidated and therefore drop the price? If so, leave it alone, take the loss. They know where you live and for the sake of 30 quid you don't want to feel nervous in your home.

If you didn't feel intimidated then you shouldn't have dropped the price unless you agreed with their perspective, in which case you have nothing to complain about.
