Ahh MemoriesI remember jumping up onto the stage almost a lifetime ago when he was with Rainbow. He shooed the security away and went for the arm round the fans shoulder publicity type shot. Poor fella couldn't reach what with me being well over 6 foot and him being just a wee dot. We both fell about laughing and he gently pushed me back into the crowd.
Saw him many times over the years with Sabbath and Dio, last time was a few years ago when he supported Alice Cooper in Cardiff.
Belting pair of lungs for a short lad. Will miss him.
