hmmm I know someone this way
she goes 6 months at a time without talking to you
she got married a few years ago and no one know anything about it until 5 months later
her problem was that she'd not answer the phone or miss a date with a friend and then assume they were mad and not call because she didn't want anyone to be mad at her

I find it's not as bad to call back soon as it would be if you wait months before returning a call
