alt qi once streaked down a long expanse of beach to the sea, as dared by my then girlfriend. it was late evening and we'd seen no one for ages... of course, what do i see when i'm flapping my way back to the dunes? two people having a pleasant evening stroll. i've never run so fast in my life.
