(I didn't know you played bass yourself. Did you also find it helped to take a limp-wristed stance when playing?)

I love bagels.
I dabble- I'm by no means proficient, but can pick out a few notes- good enough to accompany. My friend on the other hand- sheesh. Most talented girl I've met. Excellent drummer, decent singer, decent pianist, demon bassist.

You big jew, you.
I know, some people are just too damn talented, aren't they? There's a guy who sometimes turns up at the jam and just flits effortlessly between the bass, the piano and the drumkit. Most infuriatingly, it's hard to imagine a nicer feller.

Do you add malt to the water? It gives them a sweet coating on the outside and that shiny glazed look.
She's hot as hell and lovely too. Some people have all the luck :( I've only got to th standard of piano that I am with practice, but I do know how music works- plus my dad used to play "identify the artist" with me at a young age. Unfortunately I no longer remember what Bill Frizell sounds like.

I only made them with flour and water - they came out quite well but were missing that glazed look.
I have no idea what Bill Frisell looks like, though I'd like to think my father gave me a pretty good musical education (read: the same sort of old-fashioned musical taste as Monty) for someone who can't get a note out of any instrument. Probably helped that my old piano teacher was really into jazz as well, but I'm not quite sure where the ardent love of blues came from...might have explored that on my own impetus.
