I don't really support England. This is easy to do because they haven't won anything since 1966, but their fans still yap on well arrogant as though they they're amazing. At least other countries enjoy their underdog role and go along cheerfully for a good party.
So, as the underdogs who were last good in the 1960s, I would be genuinely pleased for England if they could win. I would also be pleased for local boy Stevie G, who has had a terrible time of it and is suffering with a bad wife, but still gives his best for his team.
Also, why was David Beckham sat there on the side in his suit all revered like an elder statesman, or as if he's Bobby Moore? Really, leave it out and get in the stands.
Anyway, as usual I'll be supporting Italy and
My Grandad's half eye-tie and my other Nana who's wiv da angles was half-German.
(Also, in various sweeps I have Italy, Germany, Australia and two shit -enias or -akias.)

But then, I'm Scottish, so I'm fed up hearing about 1966.
For the record, I have nothing against England. Just the football team. I like the English to win at cricket etc.

They seem to play well for their clubs but then run around like binmen having a lunchtime kickabout when playing for their country. And this is evident to me, who knows zip about football.
I am impressed by that poor Gerard boy though.

I've also noticed that John Terry looks like an escaped post-lobotomy insane criminal.
He's even got a post surgery haircut

You should also mention Carragher?

But it was young Stefane who banged that goal in and was shouting at them all to pull their fingers out. Carragher will be his usual dependable and sportsmanlike self I'm sure, but I noticed Gerrard more on Saturday.
I will miss seeing Jamie at this year's charity do on Thursday. he signed a thing for my Nana last year. My friend had to ask because I just couldn't make a show of meself like that.

I've known multiple people to meet Carra, they've all said he couldn't be more polite and friendly. Same with pretty much all footballers I've met.
Except when I met Gary Lineker, he was a cunt.

I believe Robbie Fowler and his dad aren't pleasant company

Michael Owen was one of the friendliest people I've ever met, even after 2 days of being pestered by schoolkids.
John Barnes just made me laugh.
