I thought the sameI bought a 32" thinking not too big not too small. It was too big as a monitor and too small as a TV (I have a very big living room) So now the 32" is on my bedroom wall and I have had to buy smaller monitors for the PC (I opted for three 19") and a bigger TV in the living room. Massive TV's just don't work as a monitor and a monitor is actually better quality than even a HDTV and won't make your eyes hurt so much.
