Don't sweat that.At such times any distraction can be welcome. Even the chance to rail against an unfeeling remark. And a shag is definitely diverting.
And after all, you recommended two well proven means of comfort.
Even bet she will not take it amiss. Even more chance she will realise you posted unknowingly.
Of course, best to leave the country for a few weeks just in case.
