I was a bit of a prick tease back then as well so a part of me thinks it was probably a bit my faultI've learned since then that sex seems to be way more important to blokes than it does women, so women shouldn't hint that they're going to offer it if they're not really. I'm not justifying his actions but I'm not entirely blameless.
Also, he was one of a large group of friends so it would have caused no end of shit and probably caused fights in the group.
