Does anyone remember the two off licences opposite the Colherne Arms pub in Earls Court?'Tipsy-Wipsy' and 'Bottoms Up'.
It was the biggest gay pub in London 25 years ago.
First place I heard the expression,'I'm just popping out for an abortion' meaning going for a dump.
