The boiler that we knew was on the way out has developed an internal leak meaning the water getting into the electrics and tripping out the electricity in the whole house necessitating scrambling around to get the money together for an immediate replacement.

My 11 year old daughter's monthly phone bill (on a £10 /month contract) was £92 for last month,which was bad timing given the above.

It's Frank Sidebottom's funeral tomorrow.

On the plus side a mate in the transport business is doing free collections for me on the two "local pickup only" bits of camping kit I 've bought on e-bay. So don't worry, I'll be ok.
