Surely - and this is just my opinion - your wedding is supposed to exactly how you want it, and everyone else should respect that?

Yes, you're right
But my parents are organizing everything for me, so I don't really feel like contradicting them.

I have enough impossing the place, in the south of the island, as they want to make it in the capital, 100m from their home. No way, it'll be cold and rainy in January there, and the south will be sunny and lovely.

I have a feeling Dad could be persuaded to settle for paella for everyone.
Properly done of course. You just have to persuade him to give his daughter the wedding she wants, not the one he thinks his relatives expect.

I think we're going to go for a buffet
which will include paella, but there'll be other things as well, as some spaniards might find it a bit cheap and common.

Buffets are good. Casual, fun, relaxed - these are all good too.

I think so
We just have to make sure that the hotel organizes it properly so there aren't massive queues to get food.
