The bastards nicked my Omega off of the street because it didn't have no tax like.
I wasn't using it and didn't do the SORN thing. I did tell them to sell it and pay the expenses off with the dosh (it was worth a couple of grand). They didn't and have been hounding me for the fines.

In all fairness to them, they were very polite about it this morning, and I am an utter twit when it comes to doing official paperwork.

Everything I do online gets paid.
I have a phobia about opening envelopes where I don't know the contents in advance, or at least have a good idea. It stems from a few years ago when I had zero money.
