My local area is beautiful
Rolling countryside, 12th-17th century buildings are commonplace, excellent local cider (Hogan's).
However it's chock full of tourists all the time, and the decent pubs/bars are rammed with braying tosspots with an inflated sense of self-worth. Because it's considered 'posh', the cost of living is higher than it deserves to be.
Worst of all, there's not even a fucking KFC.
