I went to schoolt, with a pasty white lad who nickname was Nigger or sometimes Nigger Bacon.His name was Mark Payne - Dark Payne - Darkie Payne - Darkie Pagan - Darkie Bacon - Nigger Bacon.
The Darkie and Nigger bits were interchangeable. Darkie Pavement may well have been my favourite bastardisation.
