I'm not very good at it either, I'm trying to find info on my breed of puppy and am not being very successful at it.
I reckon for you the best would be to just get out there and look around...you know...IRL.

and I hate shopping, so if I can arrange a couple of appointments before hand, that should save me some time.

She's a pit/lab mix. Echo is her name. 5 months old. 40 fucking pounds as of yesterday. *sigh*

My sister has a beautiful labrador
and she has a few friends with labradors too, a bit crazy about dogs. She lives in NY, so I don't know if that helps you.
