fingers crossedHe might be able to persuade them to let us have 3 weeks, but I can't rely on it so I think I'll work on 2 weeks and if we get extra time then that's a bonus.

Good thinking3 weeks is just about right, if you don't do stop-overs on the way. I'm so happy you've finally convinced him. I hope you get to save the money.

That's why I've set it so far away, so I only have to save a little bit a month.As soon as I get a tenant in my rental property I won't be quite so stretched so it shouldn't be impossible. Having said that though, things always seem to pop up and sap my savings!
