I once tried to dye my hair blondeit went orange. It was not a good look, particularly as I was 14 and had school the next day. I ended up getting up at 5:30am just so I could nip to the shop and buy another dye and sort it out before school. Apparently orange + brown = a weird sort of magenta.
I get my hair done at a salon now if I want it coloured.
