Beeston Castle is ace.I went there a few years ago. A proper castle on a hill, with great views.

There was good stuff in the shop tooI was very tempted by the wooden swords and shields and bows. I foresaw lots of injuries though if i had succumbed. Will have to wait till he's a bit older and then force that stuff on him
