I have set up profiles on about 40ish social networks and included the URL in the profile.I haven't spammed though - not putting it other peoples blog comments, not using link farms etc. Am considering registering with a few directories and will link to other pages on the site not just the homepage.
I want to get good results on search returns on related searches eg brand agency.
