I do that
I wouldn't want people to go to my home if it's dirty. But then I have to clean again after the party, and I never have time.

Last party Mark couldn't help with the preparations, so he promissed he'd clean afterwards. 2 months later we still had plates and trays that hadn't been washed, and there was a black, sticky patch on the floor where someone had dropped a drink.
