We're a country of contrasts. However, the ones who fight for the separation of Spain, really fight for the separation of their bit and then the reconquering (?) of the rest of Spain as it was before it was called a country, as they learned on their history books. So, what they want is Spain, but they want to govern it under a different name, really.

The fact is that Spain is more like USA, as each Comunity has the same powers as the government of the Country (I mean, each comunity regulates taxes, education, NHS, civil servants, police...)
The fact is that it's difficult to give them more because most of them only want other comunities to be part of another one, but none can agree which name they should have or what, i.e.: Catalonia wants the Balearics, Valencia and a bit of Italy. Valencia wants the Balearics, Catalonia and a bit of Italy. The Balearics are happy with what they have, but don't want people to say that they speak catalonian because they speak majorquÃn. It's so nice and friendly :)

How can a bit of Spain claim a bit of Italy?

But that's the Basques.
I don't know, I think we're silly, honestly.

But some fight for 'separation'. Wearing basques, I think, which is a bit odd. Mind you, that's nothing compared to the Greek army's ceremonial 'Tommy Cooper in a white PE skirt and clown shoes' ensemble.

I knew I'd made that mistake but forgot by the time I got to the end of the sentence

wanted to fight for freedom wearing underwear, then the host country should seriously consider granting it as they're all clearly nonces.
