In the first weeks of senior school, a group of girls sang that to/at me ( for reasons I wont go into) during Home Economics lessons.This resulted in my face turning cherry tomato red.

Actually, no.There's no embarrassment attached to the reason they were doing it. It was simply being thirteen and being so wholly unused to receiving attention from girls. It made me so acutely embarrassed that remembering it now, over thirty years later actually makes me feel embarrassed now.
