I'm feeling very happy
thanks to several little things that have combined to put a smile on my face.

Alt Q: I was scared of orcs escaping into our world when I was a child. I was also quite afraid of the dark because I had a massively vivid imagination that populated under the bed/the cupboard with all sorts of monsters

Orcs can be right cunts when they come into our world.
Yay! for having a smile though.

Indeed they can
which is why when I first read Lord of the Rings I placed it flat down on the floor at nights so the orcs couldn't escape :( (I was 8 so not quite as frightened as it sounds)

Indeed yay. It's really rather nice. Enjoying your chicken?

Scooby Doo
Scared me when I was a kid.

The talking dog?

(, Tue 21 Sep 2010, 20:49, Reply)
Yeah. Although it wasn't Scooby that scared me.
It was the haunted houses, the evil genius and that ginger with specs, Daphne.

Scrappy was an annoying twat

I never saw Scooby Doo growing up
but I can imagine it was quite bizarre.

It stopped being scarey the moment they introduced Scrappy Doo.
He ruined it.

Oh, The Joker in the 1960's version of Batman also gave me the heebie-jeebies.

KAPOW!

Daphne didn't wear specs
you're thinking of Chris Evans

He didn't scare me, but his smugness
Gave me feelings of violence I never knew existed.
