I don't think we'll
see any new consoles till past 2012.

Spotify for films - Netflix?

Nintendo I think will give up on the 'Vital Sensor', there is the 3DS.
Sony are reportably building an Android 3 based phone that'll have the Playstation brand.

I was asked about my techy predictions at an interview yesterday and all I could come with was "Playstation Move" and "Kenect"
And how Kenect won't be as good because you can't play it slouched on the couch and how it's lack of buttons would be a big problem for developers doing anything appart from 'party games'.

Hopefully they showed that I know the UI stuff, but it's a bit of a poor thing.

They liked my pointing out that Safari in iOS lacks any sort of photo upload feature, even though it's built into the OS for PDF docs.

Yeh', Netflix is what I'm thinking, but in the UK.
Maybe done by Blockbusters?

Netflix just launched in Canada, so it shows they _do_ have outside-of-US contracts.
And a lot of hardware manufactures have invested in Netflix technology built into set-tops and even directly pumped into tellys.

Think the facebook phone is just rumours?

Yes, but very strong ones, reportably coming from inside facebook themselves.
Personally I can't see the point, they've invested in so much in having a system that's so expandable with one of the most complete APIs out there, and also in having apps for more or less every device I can think off.
