this is true usuallyhowever, if you start in the middle struggling like a bastard, it's reasonable to expect to go across, or up, rather than down. plus, when you're on a certain wage amnd you have things like rent, bills, travel, and a girl to think about, it's no small thing to take a massive hit in your wage.
