Years ago
I was made redundant for the second time and was applying for jobs left right and centre, I got pimped to a job with a bank's subsiduary by this agency I was signed up to and went to interiew. The money was right but this was selling loans to folk who could obviously not afford it (pre Ocean finance et al)- I baulked at this and when I was offered the job turned it down solely because of what I thought was the sheer fucking immorality of it all.

The worst of it all is that I would say my morality has changed over the years and the self righteousness I felt in my early twenties has been replaced with a "Is the money right? Yeah? Fuck 'em".
