Surprising the wife - bought her a new dress, shoes and jewellery, staying at The Soho Hotel and off to Hix for dinner. Should get me a few brownie points!

If you're there for more than one night also try the Giaconda Dining Room on Denmark St - it's about a 10 minute walk from where you're staying. And if you can escape for a cheeky pint or two on your own the Crown & Two Chairman pub is 20 seconds away from your hotel.
