that's so fucking sad
we had an old tom and my mum nursed him to health, his ear was nothing but gristle and one eye was white, my mum fed him, got him meds, his ear and eye started to heal.
He stayed in the house and loved to be loved on, and fought all the other cats.
Then he just got sick. Think he had the aids. I had to take him to be put down. Saddest of sad faces ever.

People underestimate how sad the death of a pet can be - I prefer my pets to some of my family.

it was so sad, they gave him a sedative and let me pet him until he fell asleep
gawd, it was terrible, he rested his little head in my hand and his tongue stuck out a little
oh god, memories :'((((

You have my sympathy Kristine
It's a horrible thing to see a beloved pet be so helpless and weak

you ever seen Zombieland?
I think it would be wicked if our pets came back as zombies
you could invite friends over but be all "watch out for princess plumpyfluff, she got bit a few weeks back. keeps running away, the old dear...took off the mailman's leg"

Yes I have, top film
Not sure our pet rat Roisin would make a great Zombie though. Unless you could redefine Zombie as "easily distracted by a bit of avocado"
