absolutely.But science fiction generally pisses me off because it's often lazy and demonstrates a lack of imagination.

Rubbish Science fiction is greatbecause they can get away with saying whatever they want. See Dune and the metaphor for Oil and Islamic resistance/Jihad. BSG during the wars in Iraq and afghanistan had suicide bombers as the good side, they got away with that because they were killing robots.
