clothes and books/dvds particularly. I also have three rather expensive musical instruments that I desperately wanted at the time but barely ever play.

It's a bugger, isn't it?
I try and justify it by saying that none of my clothes fit (most of them don't, to be fair...)

For someone who is quite good with money
I am terrible with money. I'll put money in my savings and live on a strict budget and then I'll see something shiny and go fuck it, I neeeeeed it, and rather than doing the sensible ting and saving up over a couple of months or whatever, I'll buy it then and there and skint myself for weeks to come.
