I've only been on one date, ever, and that was about three months ago, we went to a gig her brother was playing at.
She used the word "desperate" in a completely different context but it triggered something in my mind. She'd said earlier "I want to move out of home by my thirtieth birthday... maybe find a man with a house... all my friends are getting married and having babies..." and I pretty much decided there and then it wasn't going to happen.

I quite like the idea of dating, but meeting eligible, single, lab-coat wearing sciencey girls in this town is a tough prospect.
