Not being maternal isn't the realist bit. Your opinions and decisions are.In a way I'm more of a realist because I have those hormonal urges but allow my life choices to give me the strength to ignore them.

That is realisticAlso I'm quite selfish. I'd never want to have a child and then deny it what it should have because I cared more for something else
