Freezing Mondays
won't cause you to get the cold. It's caused by a virus, and you're actually more likely to get it if you're cooped up in a warm room with lots of people and no ventilation.

It is possible that the cold would depress your immune system, I think, but that's not the main reason.

Anyway, I'll bet you feel it cold when it's 22°C in the office and everyone else is in t-shirts!

Sorry, this sounds like a rant. Good morning. Glad you're happy today!

Edit - 17°C is too cold for an office environment.

We started the day at 13degC
And finished it at 17; everybody was cold, not me.

The room is closed and not ventilated, to avoid heat scape. When it's cold, your body has to spend more energy in keeping you warm, and can't fight the virus. That's why you get a cold when it's cold.

I think you should have gone home then!
That's far too cold for working inside.

That's why I left at 4
Instead of doing my normal hours, but that means the next day I have to work extra to compensate.
