who's playing?

(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 20:55, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
Redskins v Eagles
my team got stomped by the eagles, I officially hate them
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 20:57, Reply)
are the Eagles likely to get a kicking?
I've at least heard of the Redskins, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are any good....
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 20:58, Reply)
not too sure, honestly
I mostly only pay attention to my division
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:01, Reply)
How much do tickets usually cost?

(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:04, Reply)
couple hundred dollars each I guess

(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:08, Reply)
That sounds quite expensive
I pay about four-hundred quid for a season ticket to watch my side play - granted, the club lost twelve-million quid last year, but the average price for tickets in the division is probably about £25.00 per match.

Obviously, I'm talking about real football, not catching, throwing and occasionally kicking the ball, which is that NFL.

yeah alright
jog on, mate
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:20, Reply)
What are you taking umbridge to now you sensitive little soul?
The fact I was talking about the fact NFL tickets sound expensive? Or the fact I was trying to be clear as to what type of football I spend my money on?

Do NFL games have a good atmosphere? Anything in the way of singing or violence?
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:23, Reply)
not being sensitive, I think you're content to wind me up today
and that's perfectly fine

I'll just not say anything in the way of sport from now on since people feel the need to identify what they're talking about, I'm not fucking stupid, I know what you're saying.
Just don't care to try to prove a point as most people do on here. I like to just chat, I don't try to make people feel like they're wrong for liking something that they like, whether it be what the rest of the world considers right or wrong.
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:27, Reply)
It was a bit of banter.
That's all.

I'm not trying to wind you up, normally you give as good as you get.

"The game of football is any of several similar team sports, of similar origins which involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball with the foot in an attempt to score a goal"

(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:43, Reply)
And how often do Handegg players actually kick it?
I have several American friends who now always refer to it as Handegg (at least when talking to me).
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:45, Reply)
If a team doesn't achieve a first down they kick it to the opposing team.
They kick it twice after a touch down and to try to get a field goal.
(, Mon 15 Nov 2010, 21:47, Reply)
Your point
I still like calling it Handegg.
