Sorry to hear about the funeral. Generally the post service gathering becomes a very positive thing. With anesdotes and affirmations of the departed's contribution to people's lives.
However (fortunately) I've never had to attend one for anyone younger than myself. It must be harder to be positive when the person has been taken with much of what they would have wished to do unfulfilled.

I was fortunate enough to meet and have a couple of beers with Bill Nelson a few years ago. He seemed a thoroughly decent bloke and was dismissive of his guitar hero status. I think he had a distinct stlye.
