That book is fucking brilliant.
Just get used to his writing style. It's fine, it's not that hard to deal with. At least he's not Dan Brown.

I've kind of got into it now
When I first started it I wasn't really concentrating so I kept having to re-read bits and then I got annoyed, but now I'm quite enjoying it. I've been given the sequel, Narrow Dog to Indian River, as well.

I do think the guy thinks he's a bit funnier than he is though and so far when he's tried to be stoic and moving it hasn't really come across very well, but I'm going to keep going with it!
