A lot of you, South people, are not going. However, most of us, from the North, went all the way to London to see you. How unfair.

It's common sense.
The north is filled with sickly wheezing urchins raised on a diet of coal and pneumonia. The south, with its sub-tropical climes and all-round affluence, is like a lure to you northern povvos. You were bound to jump at the chance to come down.
